Inspired by Culture. Designed for Impact.
This season at Shaba, we’re proud to unveil our Artisan Spotlight Series a celebration of the women behind the weave. These are the hands shaping more than just sisal bags; they are weaving dignity, sustainability, and traceability into every fiber.
At the heart of Shaba is our commitment to an ethical, transparent, and sustainable supply chain from farm to bag. Each product you see is born in rural Kenya, crafted by artisan communities using locally sourced, organic sisal, and documented through our digital supply chain for full visibility. We call it purposeful fashion beautiful products that leave a positive footprint.

Each artisan was given locally harvested organic sisal and participated in co-creating exclusive seasonal pieces under our virtual factory model. The brief:
Design and handcraft a functional, beautiful accessory that reflects both heritage and innovation.
No imported materials. No shortcuts. Just raw, honest craftsmanship using centuries-old micro-weaving techniques.
What Makes It Different?
